In this episode we put our ranty hats on and talk about how delightful we think it is when people call Kdramas “Korean soap operas,” and if they can say it while rolling their eyes? Even better! (This is a lie, neither of these things are good.) We talk about what we’re watching and Stephanie lays a big surprise on Cherry Cordial, add on some newsy type stuff and a listener-question-inspired topic about the changes of Kdrama through history which we “Uhhh…” our way through, and you have the perfect recipe for an interesting podcast.
With less than a week to go before the new site reveal (WOOT!) I have been neglecting you (BOO!). Sorry guys, I hope once Monday comes along all of the hard work will be worth it. But for the next 6 days? Yeah, y’all are gonna get the shaft. Don’t worry though, podcast is done and will be up tomorrow!

Hellz Yeah, Epik High Is Coming! 
Was my first thought. It’s no surprise here that I’m a giant Epik High fan and most especially a Tablo fan and the idea of being in the same room as them while they sing in my general direction? Total Kfan swoon. Even now, thinking of them give me a bit of goosebumps. (But that could be the optimistically opened window.)

If you’ll notice on the side bar there, we now have a swanky countdown notice. Now what’s this all about? As promised after the unfortunate, untimely, and just uncalled for shut down of the original Crazy For Kdrama site, this blog is changing. In a matter of days, Crazy for Kdrama will be no more.
Bummer guys, bummer.
But never fear! The newer, and lets hope, better site will take it’s place. We’ll have a new look and most importantly, a new name. Why are we changing? Let’s just say the brand, Crazy For Kdrama, is now tainted by the bots and if I’m going to rebuild, I’m going to do everything I can not to find myself in their cross-hairs again.
What is the new name going to be? You’ll just have to hang around and find out! The new name has been run past a select group of beta testers and they all say “…uhh yeah, I guess so, what are you bothering me for?” so I consider that an A+ approval rating.
What is not going to change? Me. I’ll still be your same Junsu obsessed, crankypants wearing Kdrama fan reporting on whatever Kdrama news, reviews, and music tickles my fancy.
You’ll notice here that I’ve been a little half-hearted about posting new stuff as of late, and it’s because, in preparation for the relaunch, I’ve been uploading as many of the salvaged posts as I can. Once this is all done, I’ll have more time to work here and, you know, maybe watch some dramas!
So thanks for sticking with me and stay tuned as I have some fun things planned for the new launch!

What is that sobbing lump on the floor? Oh, pay no attention to that–it’s just me–unable to pick myself up after learning that the one saeguk drama I was actually looking forward to, Scholar That Walks At Night is looking to cast what’s her face, Jin Se Yeon as it’s lead.
*SOBS*
Why? Can anyone tell me how this woman keeps getting cast time and time and time again into big name dramas? I used to think that there was no one I disliked more than Cha Tae Won, but whoops, there she is. At least with Cha, he has the good grace to mostly (with the exception of the upcoming The Producers) stay off the tv shows I want to see. But nope, there is Jin getting cast in Bridal Mask, Doctor Stranger. Five Fingers, and Inspiring Generation.

Huh. Well, that’s new. FTIsland has been around in the news for a few weeks, or more so the face of FTIsland (anyone else surprised to realize he’s not actually the leader?), being pretty cranky. He’s been upset with the sort of music they’ve had to play and with the endless comparison and being pitted against label mates CNBlue.
